Why are you transferring clients’ data from...

Answer:

Wealth Interactive is more than just an online service. It’s our new administration system that will power all of our Portfolio Bonds. In order to benefit from the increased administration facilities and customer services offered by Wealth Interactive, clients’ personal data collected by us and relating to their bonds will be hosted in our UK data centre. This means that, when the switchover to Wealth Interactive happens, your clients’ personal data will be securely transferred to the UK data centre and will be held and processed there from the date of the switchover onwards. This will happen whether your clients register for Wealth Interactive or not. This transfer does not affect the tax status of the Portfolio Bonds and they will continue to be considered as offshore Portfolio Bonds.
