This Privacy Policy explains what we do with data relating to you and applies to the use of websites which are under the control of Old Mutual International.

Use of personal information

To prevent and detect fraud we may share your data with other organisations, including the police, and check and/or file your data with fraud prevention agencies and databases. If we are given false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this.

Search engine

The search engines on our websites are designed to be as powerful and easy to use as the popular search engine Google where applicable. The search is made possible on some of our websites by a piece of hardware (a search ‘appliance’) supplied by Google that is plugged into our server and continuously indexes the content on our site. All search requests are handled by the appliance and the information is not passed on to any third party, including Google.

If you post any personal information to any of our public forums/blogs, where applicable, this information may be made immediately available to other users throughout the world who may use it to send you unsolicited communications. If you post any content in breach of our site’s terms of use we may inform any Internet provider and law enforcement agencies about the content and your behavior.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

From time to time we may be required or, need to, update this Privacy Policy. Where necessary and appropriate we may contact you through the email address if provided, to advise of a change. All changes will be accessible from all Old Mutual sites through the 'Privacy Policy' and notification of the last date of change will be placed at the top.
